Peperangan anti kapal selam

Peperangan anti-kapal selam (bahasa Inggris: Anti-submarine warfare, disingkat ASW atau A/S) adalah cabang peperangan bawah air yang menggunakan kapal perang permukaan, pesawat terbang, atau kapal selam lainnya untuk menemukan, melacak, dan menghalangi, merusak, atau menghancurkan kapal selam musuh.

Keberhasilan peperangan anti-kapal selam bergantung pada perpaduan antara teknologi sensor dan senjata, pelatihan, serta pengalaman.

Diawali dengan memakai sonar untuk mendeteksi, kemudian melakukan pengelompokkan suara, menemukan, dan melacak kapal selam target. Setelah ketemu targetnya, hancurkan kapal selam musuh baik dengan torpedo, ranjau laut, maupun peledak kedalaman, yang diluncurkan dari udara, permukaan, ataupun bawah laut.
