"Blackbird" adalah lagu oleh the Beatles dari album ganda tahun 1968 mereka The Beatles (juga dikenal sebagai "the White Album"), yang ditampilkan sebagai penampilan solo oleh Paul McCartney. Lagu tersebut juga ditulis oleh McCartney, meskipun karya tersebut dikreditkan kepada Lennon–McCartney. Penampilan langsung
Pada tahun 1973, McCartney menyertai lagu, bersama lagu Beatles "Michelle",[1] sebagai bagian medley akustik di khusus televisi James Paul McCartney.[2] Dimulai dengan 1975–76 world tour bersama kelompok musik Wings, McCartney telah tampil "Blackbird" pada setiap tur konser satu-satunya.[3] Penampilan lagu solo, disusul oleh "Yesterday", muncul pada album live tahun 1976 Wings Wings Over America.
McCartney juga menyertai "Blackbird" pada penampilan di konser Party at the Palace pada Juni 2002. Pada tahun 2009, McCartney tampil lagu ini di Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, megomentari sebelum menyanyikan tentang bagaimana lagu tersebut ditulis sebagai responds terhadap Gerakan Hak Sipil, dan menambahkan, "Sangat menyenangkan menyadari begitu banyak masalah hak sipil telah diatasi."[4]

Versi ini menggunakan instrumental asli Beatles instrumental.[10] McCartney mengungkapkan kekaguman terhadap versi kover Beyoncé, menyatakan: "Menurut saya, ia membuat versi yang luar biasa dan versi tersebut menegaskan kembali pesan hak-hak sipil. Menurut saya Beyoncé telah membuat versi yang luar biasa dan saya ingin mendorong siapa pun yang belum pernah mendengar untuk mendengarkan. Anda akan menyukainya!"[11]

Pada 25 Desember 2024, Beyoncé, Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell dan Tiera Kennedy memulai debut live "Blackbiird" sebagai set list bagian acara setengah waktu NFL tahun 2023.[12]
