Jupiter LVI, awalnya dikenal sebagai S/2011 J 2, adalah salah satu satelit alami Jupiter. Jupiter LVI ditemukan oleh Scott Sheppard pada tahun 2011.[2][3] Citra Jupiter LVI yang baru ditemukan pada saat itu ditangkap menggunakan teleskop Magellan-Baade di Observatorium Las Campanas di Chili. Jupiter LVI adalah satelit yang tidak beraturan (ireguler) dengan orbit retrograde. Penemuan ini menambah jumlah satelit yang dimiliki oleh Jupiter menjadi 67.[4] Satelit ini merupakan salah satu dari kelompok objek retrograde luar yang mengorbit Jupiter dan termasuk dalam kelompok Pasiphae.[5]
Jupiter LVI dianggap hilang setelah penemuannya pada tahun 2011.[6][7][8][9] Satelit tersebut ditemukan kembali pada tahun 2017 dan diberikan sebutan permanennya pada tahun yang sama.[10]
Bersama Jupiter LVI, Jupiter untuk saat ini diketahui memiliki 79 satelit.

We likely have all of the lost moons in our new observations from 2017, but to link them back to the remaining lost 2003 objects requires more observations a year later to confirm the linkages, which will not happen until early 2018. ... There are likely a few more new moons as well in our 2017 observations, but we need to reobserve them in 2018 to determine which of the discoveries are new and which are lost 2003 moons.
