Nachem Malech Mailer (31 Januari 1923 – 10 November 2007), dikenal dengan nama penanya Norman Kingsley Mailer, adalah seorang penulis, jurnalis, pembuat film, dan penjahat terpidana asal Amerika. Dalam kariernya yang berlangsung lebih dari enam atau tujuh dekade, Mailer memiliki 11 buku terlaris, setidaknya satu di setiap tujuh dekade setelah Perang Dunia II.[1]
Novelnya The Naked and the Dead diterbitkan pada tahun 1948 dan membuatnya terkenal sejak dini. Novel nonfiksinya yang terbit pada tahun 1968 The Armies of the Night memenangkan Pulitzer Prize atas nonfiksi dan juga National Book Award. Di antara karya-karyanya yang terkenal lainnya adalah An American Dream (1965), The Fight (1975) dan The Executioner's Song (1979), yang memenangkan Pulitzer Prize atas fiksi.
Mailer dianggap sebagai inovator "nonfiksi kreatif" atau "Jurnalisme Baru", bersama dengan Gay Talese, Truman Capote, Hunter S.
