Spirituali

Spirituali adalah para anggota gerakan reformasi^[1] dalam Gereja Katolik Roma, yang berdiri dari 1530an sampai 1560an.^[2] Gerakan tersebut terkadang disebut evangelisme.

Para tokoh Spirituali meliputi Kardinal Gasparo Contarini (1483–1542), Kardinal Jacopo Sadoleto (1477–1547), Kardinal Reginald Pole (1500–1558), penyair Italia Vittoria Colonna, dan temannya, seniman Michelangelo (1475–1564), yang melukis langit-langit Kapel Sistina dan Pengadilan Terakhir yang sangat kontroversial.
