Premis

Bertempat di Pasadena, California, ibu Avery Jennings, Ellen, baru saja menikah dengan ayah Tyler dan Chloe James, Bennett, jadi sekarang keluarga baru tersebut perlu melakukan beberapa penyesuaian dalam hidup bersama. Mereka menghadapi penyesuaian yang lebih besar ketika mengetahui bahwa anjing baru mereka, Stan, dapat berbicara. Hanya Avery, Tyler dan Chloe yang mengetahui hal ini. Tanpa sepengetahuan keluarganya, Stan juga memiliki blog tempat dia membahas kejadian di rumah tangga Jennings-James dengan harapan menemukan hewan lain yang bisa berbicara. Dog with a Blog umumnya menerima tinjauan yang beragam dari para kritikus.
