Iridium tetroksida (IrO4, Iridium(VIII) oksida) adalah senyawa biner dari oksigen dan iridium dalam keadaan oksidasi +8.[1] Senyawa ini dibentuk oleh penataan ulang fotokimia [(η1-O2)IrO2] dalam argon padat pada suhu 6 K (−267,15 °C; −448,87 °F). Pada suhu yang lebih tinggi, oksida ini tidaklah stabil.[2] Deteksi kation iridium tetroksida IrO+4 melalui spektroskopi fotodisosiasi inframerah dengan bilangan oksidasi formal +9 telah dilaporkan, dan menjadi keadaan oksidasi tertinggi yang diketahui saat ini dari semua unsur.[3][4] Namun, tidak ada garam yang diketahui, karena percobaan produksi garam Ir(IX) seperti IrO4SbF6 tidak menghasilkan apapun.
